About the Founder Mark Jolley
Born in Phx, Az in 1968. I grew up between South Phoenix (with my mother) and Buckeye Az (Grandparents-Country living). Mainly in Buckeye with my grandparents. I started working with the farmers in the area at 8 yrs old, tromping cotton trailers after school and weekends for a dollar a trailer. Then started chopping cotton when I was 10 yrs old, $14/day on weekends, and during the summers. G.R. Jolley (My grandfather) had a small trucking company Jolley Trucking, and we hauled hay, cottonseed, and grain to various places around Arizona. I started working on the trucks when I was 12-13 yrs old. My grandfather died when I was in the 7th grade, and my mother took over the business. We had 2 cabover trucks and hauled flatbed cargo like hay, telephone poles for SRP, trees for Continental Nursery, scrap metal/cars, etc.
I went to Buckeye Union High School and graduated in 1986. I started driving at 17 years old and continued to drive until I was around 25. Then I went to local community colleges and got two Associate Degrees one in Nuclear Medicine and then went to NAU (Northern Arizona University) and got my Bachelor’s Degree. I’ve been working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for 25 years. 21 years with my current employer Banner Health. I was married for 10 yrs and I have been divorced for 17 years. I have one daughter (20 yrs) and she’s a junior at Arizona State University. I got into real estate a few years ago, formed “MEJ Group LLC” and flipped one house, and remodeled 2 other homes.
